Tracy Schreier is a writer living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A psych nurse for over fifteen years, she dropped out of the nursing profession and concentrated her time and effort on writing. So far, that has added up to nothing. A mother to a 19-year-old son, Spencer; a partner to the love of her life, Tracy Davis, and the slave of a psychotic cat named Bitty, she spends her days writing, reading, avoiding television, and looking out the window while trying to find the right words to whatever sentence, paragraph, or story she happens to be honing. She has learned that writing is not the glamour job she thought it would be and seldom changes out of her pajamas except in cases of extreme emergency, like having to go to the grocery store for milk or butter.
